# $POK Chickenomics

$POK is the governance token of the PokPok ecosystem. $POK serves multiple purposes within the PokPok Protocol, functioning as a utility token for governance, incentives and risk management.

$POK is primarily a DAO token to distribute decision-making, management, and entity ownership, such as deciding on the total share of protocol revenue to be transferred to the weekly community pot and voting on the direction of the roadmap and development effort.\
\
Of note, after Epoch 52, 14.12% of $POK will replace $PEGG as the primary staking reward. Another 22% of $POK will be used as gaming rewards to further support the growth of the protocol.

$POK will have the following distribution and vesting periods.

Tokenomics are subject to change as the team negotiates with investors, exchanges and market makers before the release of $POK.
