# xPEGG Staking: Earn Protocol Revenue

### What is xPEGG Staking?

xPEGG Staking lets you earn a portion of PokPok's protocol revenue by staking your $PEGG tokens! When you stake $PEGG, you become an xPEGG holder and receive automatic weekly distributions from the protocol's revenue.

* Help grow the PokPok ecosystem while earning passive income

### Steps:

1. Visit the Pokville and click the "Earn" tab
2. Enter the amount of $PEGG you want to stake
3. Confirm the transaction
4. Start earning weekly protocol revenue distributions! Hit the claim button to receive your accrued rewards.&#x20;

### Unstaking is subject to an unlocking period

### Important Notes

* Unstaked $PEGG will not receive any rewards during the unlock period
* Penalty distributions are distributed to remaining stakers immediately
* Staking statistics show total $PEGG staked and your share of the pool
* xPEGG staking is separate from traditional Pok staking for Golden Eggs
