# At the Coop

## Step 2: Feeding your Pok (at the Coop)

The coop is where you can view and manage your Poks. A well-fed chicken is a happy chicken! And in PokPok, feeding is how you maintain your PAYG options position. Each day starts at 0000H UTC and feeding times are due every 24 hours at 0800H UTC until maturity date.

Missing a feed will lead to a Starved Pok, and the options position will be defaulted and closed. Don’t forget to feed your Pok if you want to keep it healthy until maturity! The ability to Feed All is available to ensure that your Pok will stay alive until Harvest Day should you be prone to forgetting feeds or unable to login to PokPok for whatever reason. Always refer to the countdown timer!

Water-based Poks do not require feeding as the full premium is paid upfront!

*Pro Farmer Tip: During the time your Pok is in the coop, you may deliberately miss a feed to save on the remaining feeding cost if you think that the Pok will not be profitable at maturity*
