## Understanding the Basics

Engaging with PokPok is straightforward and fun. Here's how you participate in the core game:

1. Minting Your First Pok:
   * Navigate to the "Hatchery" section of the DApp.
   * Select your preferred underlying asset (e.g., ETH, BTC), option type (Grass, Water, Fire), strike price, and expiry timeframe.
   * Confirm your transaction to "hatch" your new Pok (mint your options position). Your Pok will appear in your "Coop."
2. Feeding Your Pok (Managing Positions):
   * For Grass Poks, you'll need to "feed" them daily by paying the premium to keep your position active and healthy. If you stop feeding, your Pok will expire worthless.
   * For Water and Fire Poks, the initial premium covers the entire lifespan of the option. However, you can choose to "harvest" (close) your position early to realize profits or cut losses before expiry.
3. Harvesting Your Pok (Settlement & Payouts):
   * As your Poks approach their expiry, their value will fluctuate based on market conditions.
   * At or before expiry, you can "harvest" your Pok. This action settles your options position, and any profits are automatically sent to your wallet. If the option expires out-of-the-money, your initial investment (or total premiums paid for PAYG) may be lost.

### Rewards & Progression ($PEGG)

Success in the PokPok game is celebrated with Golden Eggs ($PEGG). These are your in-game rewards for effectively managing your Poks and profiting from your options trades. $PEGG can be used for various in-game enhancements, future special events, or other utilities within the PokPok ecosystem. It's a testament to your skill as a Chicken Farmer!

While PokPok makes options trading fun, remember that real financial assets are involved. Always consider:

* Risk Management: Never invest more than you can afford to lose.
* Diversification: Explore different Pok types and underlying assets.
